Short of using one of those fibre disc things has anyone got an ideas on removing what is probably emulsion paint from a frame?
Tried paint stripper and a blow torch and its not touched it
-
try shouting at it, thats what i do.
-
Take it to a media blasters.

Emulsion paint reacts with wallpaper paste. I know this as I tried to paint over some walls that had small traces of paste on there and it made a right mess. Had to buy some expensive sealing product to get over it.
If you have some knocking around, mix up a batch and slap it on the frame and see if it works - leave as long as possible. Has to be worth a shot IMO. :daumenhoch:

Will try anything once :daumenhoch:

and if that doesn't work try some man paste. >:D

Try gasket remover :daumenhoch:
