belongs to somone I know, almost owned it for a meagre £50, until he searched ebay for tuff neck :(

great buy
-
couple of choice parts on there, the rims are weinman on suzue hubs, it originally belonged to an os racer called tony glinos
-
The rims look like Spencer to me.
When i messaged the seller about a BIN he said a local BMX expert told him to up the price of his reserve from £125 to £250 because of the parts. Sounds like the local expert has just cost somebody even more money than what he would have paid for it.
Nice frameset there, Wilson frames were ridden by the Halfords factory riders.

looks like it worth 40 quid i know it had tuff neck and a set of bars on it they aint exactly worth the 250 tho
-
those patty pro bars are worth £250 on their own, that is a great buy,ive seen those bars go for anything from £200 to £750 ,i bought a set from the states last month for £220
-
Yep Jay i was doing well until he started to google offered £150 i was after the bars and stem

Am i missing something here ?????
That is an Ebay link above which forgive me if i'm wrong means the bike was on Ebay, you can't get any fairer than that. You only had to bid to win it. I've already posted the reserve set was £250, obviously the winner bid that or over that to break it.
How's that unfair ????
-
i thought it was cheap seeing as what was on it.
break it and you would end up with a cheap set of bars and a few other bits.
if i'd still have been interested in the old bikes i'd have deffo been in for that.
-
I was going to bid just to strip it and keep the bars and flog the rest but couldn't really be arsed :(

My post was making fun of the term 'volutures'. I couldn't give a monkeys about the eBay auction TBH.
