Araya did make race frames, they are indeed pretty rare and they are very good.

They are also making bikes again now in Japan.

That's interesting. Looks a bit generic tange but that decal makes it a bit special.   :daumenhoch:

As far as I remember Araya BMX were Tange tubing with the araya decal.  I think the frames were originally marketed as Tange Ishibashi.

Forks look a bit like TX1200 champs but tbh the welds don't look right.

I'm always way out on what this stuff is worth because i buy bugger all but the fact it has those cool decals makes it that little bit more special  :daumenhoch:

It looks just like the AERO I had from the local bike shop in my home town BITD. Tear drop tubing and tange-ish forks.
Just my opinion ;)

Stickers are stickers!
I had a Puch with Mongoose decals on it. Sold it for pennies to help a Radster out.
It's now on the Bay as a Mongoose!
Go figure!

It's the original stickers that sets this apart from all the others though

Cool, I've got one of these: http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/araya/48218
Hard to find concrete info on them but I wouldn't mind some better shots of those decals if possible.

Ha! BITD a mate got a generic no brand twin top tube bike, but it looked mint, when I first saw it I asked him if it was Torker or Haro. He didn't know what it was. Few months later he sold it on to another mate. Next thing I see second mate proudly riding around on his 'new Haro'. Couldn't say anything cos he loved it, and had just paid nearly £300 for it. ???
