Just bought a HEAP of these components to build my Hoffman with and ive read mixed reviews online....
Is their stuff much cop?
cheers!
-
:) Stolen started doing budget/entry level stuff & now have products at a few price points, the more expensive stuff is pretty good.
-
Hmm ive bought at different price points:
Stolen TLC Clutch stem
MOB 3pc cranks
cell bars
implant headset
revolver bottom bracket
thermalite pedals
thermalite pegs
-
:) Bars & stem & other bits are fine but I`d change the cranks at some point-my 13 yr old has bent 2 sets.I`ve ran Stolen Team cranks before (around £80) & would buy them again.
-
Headset & BB good...the rest you'll find on a £250 complete.
-
Thanks guys, a little mixed feelings on what ive bought then. The cranks HAVE gotta go then at least.........
Hows about colny colonial cranks? are these just for flatland of burly enough for hard riding????
-
:) Colonys look like regular cranks-flatland ones are generally pretty short.Shop around, you can get Profile GDHs for not much more & WTP or DK cranks for less.
-
Can someone post some LINKS to something please?
GREEN
or
BLUE????
-
Best bet is to ring Stodgy at the rad shop.He is an expert on hoffman condors too! :daumenhoch:
-
If you're REALLY lucky, Stodgy had some coloured cranks in recently (blue I think) - proper top end stuff for half price basically. Can't remember now what they were, other than they were a bargain. Give him a shout.

I got some WTP Tibia cranks in bright blue, brand new in the box, same as these
