Sweet bike fella. What was the pearl of wisdom on the spoke cleaning front?
Cheers,
Adey.
-
No pearls mate just me old spanish mate manuel labour! Use a dry scouring sponge pad from wilko's 39p for 12 to get off all the crap and marks off the spokes and on the rim for the brake marks then polish with autosol and buff up, minty mint! I missed the first 20 minutes yesterday shinin them! Bit fiddly but worth it! Got two more sets to do now I know what's possible!
-
Cheers guys, I must say it is more satisfying restorin original bits and lookin at your handywork, it would have bin easier to replace with new! This is my fav bike and when I find the photo of bitd you will see why. Thanks for your comments will sort the seat guts before she hits the museum!
