Title: Pictures of an incredibly rare hub for all you 70's BMX lovers
Post by: stidds on May 17, 2012, 11:44 PM
Now I love hubs so much, they are probably my favourite part on a build.

So here for you lovers of rare 70's BMX parts is an incredibly rare beast indeed... An Addicks front hub, laced up for use on my R&R.

The flanges are aluminium and the hub itself is nylon (as per everything else Addicks).  To date this is the 1st one that has been found.

It accepts either normal open bearings or a sealed bearing, this one has the cups in for open bearings.

Enjoy....

That looks phat  8)

shame it's not in red or blue so you can see the contrast in colours from the flanges and centre.

Red or blue would have been nice for seeing the hub better but they only made black and so far it seems they only made this one.  :daumenhoch:
