Got this yesterday any info appreciated , serial number on frame is 83U(or it could be 0) 80618 , above that it says 82 which i presume is the year. I'd particularly like to know what the wheels are :)

the frame is an ironhorse dirt burner but this frame & forks came under a few different names as it was one of those frames that was available from the back pages of the sunday paper, the wheels are from something else

Yes it was at Swanley bootsale. I got there early and in the queue to get in , a couple of cars in front of me i suddenly spot a van with an old school bmx on the roof. I literally followed the van in to see where it was going then parked up and had got to the van and asked the price of the bike before they'd even unloaded it ;) about 5 seconds after another guy asked how much it was but i said "ive got first dib dobs!" Early bird catches the worm as they say :)

Oh no!!!! We'll get the chairman of the "Dirt Burner" world owners club preaching on about how wonderful they are and that "Every old build is as good as the next" and there will be "Dirt Burner" forums amd gatherings and T-shirts and people getting all Anal about how they are historical finds and everyone used to have one and that because "I was poor" thats all we could afford..........ffs!
Good luck with the resto and all that but they were crap.

id love a set of phirrana wheels , dont know WTF id do with them , nor would i want to pay postage on them but ive got a soft spot for them,my mate had one bitd and it was rubbish , in fact forget i said anything , it was just a fleeting moment of nostalgia driven insanity
