Congrats to all the GB riders making the Finals.
But a HUGE cheer for young Ross Cullen (Preston Pirates) taking the W1 plate in the 11 Years Final.
Andy Hill's (Haro82) daughter Imogen made the Final in the 10 year old girls and took 7th..

cīmon Diggler. this is whitewashing again.
one W1 out of 17 competition on home turf is not exactly brilliant. Look at those Yanks, they got 7 titles. Shame.

Mein freund, I was congratulating the 2 mentioned riders and their parents who I know :4_17_5:
I hear what you are saying but to be honest, I dont care enough to have an opinion, I just ride my bike for fun and do a bit of racing, for fun, which unfortunately means I have to involve myself with BC at points. This is not a majour issue really but the structures and politics within the sport are for people other than me as my collosal talent and radness would be under utilised :daumenhoch:

:daumenhoch: Well pleased with Imogen's World 7 Plate. Shame she came off in the final but just happy she was in it. Only one in flats in the final, she is old school :)
With regards to the standard compared to the rest of the world, the UK are just playing at it at the moment. Imogen rides when she can be bothered , doesn't do any training so does well to make a world final. How BMX is run for kids just doesn't compare with swimming/gymnastics/athletics etc. If you are a good swimmer or gymnast even in this country you would be training 4+ times a week.
Until BC get some structure in place around coaching talent from a young age nothing will change, it's alright building all these tracks but who's going to run them and coach the kids, they just expect volenteers to appear from nowhere and make it up as they go along.
Is pedestrian Krautrocks??
