Cheers, im well chuffed with it but then again I have cheated by having a shop build it. Then again, imagine my worry when I collected it. I had provided all the components but the Oddy EVO"s came with black blocks so I ordered white ones which arrived after I handed the bike to the shop but before I collected it. Yup, black marks on my new (and freakin expensive) rims!! a little white spirit worked wonders!! Larkfield cycles in kent did an awesome job with the build. I thank them.
I LOVE this build. Its long, modern, technically sorted and most of all DIALLED. It stops on a dime, looks fantastic and is an excuse to ride and lose a few pounds. Ive even got the backyard boxset to get me in the mood.
Cheers for sorting the photo for me. Nice one!

@Betty lol
Whats wrong with the bars.....? I have some chrome Hoffman ones on my Big Daddy (that was a sugar baby). I may get them powdered. I forget what they are called but they are a lot like Haro kneesavers in design but are NOT patriots...........might be called "drag" bars???
-
Get them in line with the forks :police:
It's a 2012 Condor not a 92 :LolLolLolLol:
-
You mean move them back a little??
Chrissake!! im 6 foot tall and 41 years old, not 3ft 6 and 21 years old like in 92!!

Nosh, you may well find that bike a little twitchy with the bars where they are, it's got a 75 degree head angle. It's worth having them eeked back a little bit.

I agree, I did sit on it and ride it a whole 5 feet down the garden path, the bars did seem a little, erm, "snappy". The bike is 4000 miles away from me for the next 4 weeks, then when I return to the UK ill be packing it into a Polaris bike pod and chucking it in cargo for my return here.
When I reassemble what needs reassembling ill adjust them then. As well as fitting my white brake pads.

Looking good! can't beat a nice retro ride :daumenhoch:
agree on the bars, i know it seems weird pulling them back in line with the forks but once you start riding you quickly realise why :daumenhoch:
