I have seen this frame set go for sale a few time and missed it. My patience paid off and Like any normal Chester Ride I finished up buying the frame and forks from Kappy :daumenhoch:
I have never had a mini before and wanted to make it useable, I have seen them with little horrible seats and bars but this is for my daughter to ride and she would not be happy with that.
She help pick a lot of the parts and did a great job I think :daumenhoch:
She Turned down the Hutch Ladder Bars and opted for the chrome EZ bars and refused the 1 piece cranks for much shinier Hanabishi Cranks I got from Gaz earlier this year. She liked the Proclass wheels so they where rebuilt with shiny new Ashai spokes. Finally she opted for the 880 brakes but had to have Tech 5 levers for reach.
I hope you Like it half as much as she does :smitten: :smitten:
This is my Take on how a DP Mini should look 8)
Circa 1983 DP Mini Freestyler built for my 8 year old Daughter
Chrome DP Mini Frame and Forks

Izumi Chain
Helix Drop Out Savers
As My 8 year old daughter will ride it I have put on some Welgo Pedals and Repop AME Tri's :daumenhoch:
There are Shimano SX pedals and Sharp Grips but I dont want them Destroying.

Thread locked so I can sort out the voting tomorrow.
-
Voting now open guys :daumenhoch:

Orgasmdonor's bike is a clayborn not a boss :daumenhoch:
-
:LolLolLolLol: it was early and read the description of the bars......what a plum ;D
-
My vote :daumenhoch:
-
Ripper.
Edit:-
Wouldn't have voted if I'd noticed the twin pinch cranks. Better off with a £25 one piece crank than some new shit.
That's what you get with tiny retina display pics.
Are them mickey mouse graphshite hub covers too.
Can I pull my vote back in :yahoo_silent:
-
Vote in ... :daumenhoch: some quality in there this month .

Man, tough month as ever guys. Fat Ed's Supercross got my vote now he's finally put some decent wheels on it and got rid of that ridiculous dustbin-lid sized chainwheel.....
I've ridden it and it's a million times better than those wobbly Subrusa DTT things everyone buys then hates and sells...... I'd have had a Supercross if I hadn't found my Knightbikes Goose.
Pity about the colour though.... But the decals are ace and subtle ;-D
-
Mini DP :daumenhoch:

-
from the sounds of it, i've voted for something different
-
