BIG Question - I don't usually give it a second thought - 'Build it & Ride it!' is the standard choice for me:

Redline 600b Nos in the box, arrived about 20 minutes ago.......
-
loft it :daumenhoch:
-
Yup carefully put it back in the box and put it up in the loft and forget about it for a few years. Nice score :daumenhoch:
-
weld pegs on it, spray it with hammerite, put stickers on it that say "BMXTREME"
-
Definately build it with all NOS parts, put it in a room, look at it, but never ride it!
No point having it, unless you're gonna appreciate it!
:)
-
yeah all nos build and just display it, box and all
too nice to ride :smitten:
buy another more used one to build as rider :daumenhoch:
-
Put it back in the box and send it to my house :daumenhoch:
Nice one that, all the way from the east, you beat my snipe :knuppel2:
Honest I would put it back in the box and loft it and if you see the bits for it then buy em and loft them too >:D
-
attach it to the mains supply and leave it on the side at rom
then just sit and wait...
-
jesus man, its just a frame, get it ridden, thats what it was built for, have some fun on the thing, i dont want to see you on life of grime in a few years like some of these on here where the council comes to clear out your yard due to all the stuff youve hoarded over the years :LolLolLolLol:
-
what a find :daumenhoch:
i say put it in a glass cabinet with a mirror back, spotlit :4_17_5:
-
The Serial No. is RC 11246
Which makes it a 1983 Redline - sweet!
-
its a shitter......send it down to essex
c/o rom bloke
99 long lane
grays
essex
i'll bin it for you
lol

use n abuse
-
If there's a factory spec. sheet build it NOS accordingly :daumenhoch:
It'll take time :LolLolLolLol:
But it'll be mucho nice :daumenhoch:
-
save it :daumenhoch:
-
I say get it built to the original spec then hang it on the wall.
-
Poke it
-
Lol , its something to ponder for sure mate
i would normally be with you and build her up to nos spec , BUT i have started to look at this long term ( its taken 4 years lol ) i like the idea of cabinet cos i know you would do a blinder and the fact that there are not many like it makes it special
i have always been in the build it up and at least have a little go round the track camp
but am understanding the keep it original brigade a little better lately
Rich :)

Put it back in the box & don't build it.
It is far to rare to build..
-
Put it in a display cabinet, along with the box (the box would pull good money on it's own), and add a couple of other Redline bits for extra eye candy... Black Brute... Redline post... STR bars... Flights...
Or you could just build it to ride and use the box to light the barbie...
-
weld pegs on it, spray it with hammerite, put stickers on it that say "BMXTREME"
lol you know it.
-
NOS, build and enjoy showing everyone!!
-
I'm with Bren & Rich. A display cabinet with all era correct RL bits.
-
build it then show it!
you cant take a display box to a show and shine (and win!)
-
i am with the rest of the mad people in here built it up nos and keep it that will be a rare bike very nice and what a find :daumenhoch:
-
Mr Wax, Is it the one from the far east that was on the bay a few weeks back??
????
-
Yup!
-
Got it for a steal i recon, hats off mate nice find Mr Diesel :4_17_5:
P.S. Set of boxed 401's on the bay for her :daumenhoch:
-
I'm all for building and riding (lightly) most stuff but I would get that it a cabinet I think!
It sure would look nice all backlit.... :smitten:
PM me with the details Dan!!
-
Oh, and why didn't the sender put that box inside another one so it didn't get covered in friggin stickers??
-
most probably because in the far east they don`t think it worth bugger all ,i just come back from the far east and seeing on my travels was a pk ripper looptail used by a bum with shopping bit s on it to get about ,now in uk that would be restored . different culture i`m afraid .
nice score dan
-
Build it & show it , or give it me to look after >:D
