I'm guessing you mean the forks have a built in bearing race?
I thought you would be able to use it with a sealed bearing headset. I've had external headsets that have sealed cartridge bearings in them and the fork race is a flat angle if that makes sense.
Or is the fork steerer tube to short to clamp a stem on?
Got any pics?

i think it needs to be a sealed 45/45 campy style headset which i dont have i have a unsealed bearing headset
maybe someone can check this for me i can easily buy a sealed one if they fit

:)Trouble with a lot of forks with integrated crown race is that the steerer tubes are too short to run on a  regular headset although Odyssey seem to be an exception.

You could try and machine a 45 degree chamfer on the underside of a std crown race, so it sits on the integral fork race.

Issues with this would be-

1, the steerer tube may not be long enough to clamp the stem on properly because-
2, the forks would effectively be hanging out of the headtube by another 4mm or so.

The sealed external headset would be best though, I have one on my Alone which cost less than a tenner on ebay, pretty good too.
