Really want one of these and see on the site a few more are available.
Anyone on here ordered one?
And when will they arrive as it says June?
Not that bothered if it comes late as at the moment could prob only afford the deposit :daumenhoch:
-
Didn't say which June though :-X :D
-
HaHa yeah i have heard they are a bit economical with the truth when it comes to deadlines :daumenhoch:
-
I've ordered one. 8) i want some of the skyway/bullseye pedals but they're out of stock at the mo. Knowing Ed i reckon mine will be ready end of next month. I've still to pay the balance anyway yet. gonna be nice to cruise on a 24" skyway its just a shame about the canti mounts on the rear.
-
Yes it looks pretty cool,as you say, shame about the canti mounts,i think i might grind them off if i get one, even if it is chrome :LolLolLolLol:
-
Dont forget to grind out the BB and reduce the headset
-
and use a shimmed out 22.2 seatpost so you is proper old skool
-
:LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:
why take the canti's off .
It's a brake that will actually work ???
-
Yes, well I have spoken to Ed several times over the last 4 or 5 years about getting a newly welded TA frame from the next welding run and im still waiting.....
DOES the cruiser actually exist?

There seem to be loads of 'prototypes', different prototype every week, but haven't seen a real one. ;)

New school bike, new school brakes.
To go with the BB, headset & seatpost as diggler points out.

Exactly :4_17_5:
Hopefully for those purchasing ,,some thicker new school dropouts too for anti- flexxy spongey wobbly riding,
-
I've got one on order too :daumenhoch:
Not in a rush to get one as, well my build rate is not the fastest :'(
But its a new school bike and therefore new school parts :daumenhoch:
Would'nt put old school parts on a new school race bike :crazy2:
-
I backed out for several reasons: There is no serieus racing tested on it, i lost my job at that time, and the bad communication with planet bmx
decided that i am gonna order the new kuwahara lachesis cruiser, The french elite woman corguile even won a supercross round with it , so quality enough i would say
-
I'm also yet to be convinced - it looks like not a repop old bike and not a proper New Skool bike either... a lot of money for a white elephant.

Anyone know what the shipping costs and import tax on these are going to be??
-
I wouldn't worry about the shipping costs or the import tax as they are bound to have increased by the time comes they decide to send , I've one on order as well , think i need my head examining as im gonna be far too old to ride a bike when it does turn up
