Hello all, im a new lad here i didnt start riding properly till the early nineties after two of my mountain bikes got pinched. I gave up on them and bought my first ' proper bmx ' when i was about 14. It cost 25 quid second hand and was a mongoose supergoose in mint condition. Its now long gone ( i broke it at Rom!! ) it came with ukai rims with holes in them and it had 3 sturmey archer gears, was that the norm as other ones ive seen for sale have no gears. I remember it had a set of 3 piece cranks and renthal bars with a detachable crossbar just interested to know thats all.
Thanks
Jim

I dont have any unfortunately i was young and dumb!! Ended up putting kneesavers, gyro and 90s bits on it at the time and yeah i can hear you old schoolers cringing!!!

bmx's shouldnt have gears full stop!!someone had added the gears after on your supergoose,as for the ukais with holes in them i think you mean pro class wheels, they were standard on many geese, renthal bars were uk supergoose spec, three peice cranks were probably added after purchase too as factory spec was a one peice to my knowledge, hope this is a help fella :daumenhoch:

Yeah i agree with you about the gears it was gruesome and they came off strait away!! Someone must have spent some dough though coz they must have laced a different hub into the ukais. Im pretty sure the cranks were a loud neon colour too, strange!!
