Title: NOS Chromed Stem Bolts?
Post by: Clean on June 13, 2012, 08:36 PM
Surely the four chromed bolts used in Sugino and Suntour Stems can be bought from somewhere other than a fleecing eBayer?  ???

What diameter, thread, length etc.? Does anyone know?  ???

Or are these things super specialised?  ???

Come on, folks... please educated my dumb head?  :daumenhoch:

I would use stainless ones mate. Just look up your local supplier and take your bolts in. Even if they don't have them they will be able to tell you if they are metric or imperial and the thread pitch. Then you can buy them on eBay if needed.   :daumenhoch:

don't use aluminium bolts in a stem mate its asking for trouble

M8 x25 are what you need. Stainless Steel Bolts are most accurate replacements and easily polished if not shiny enough
