Title: Mongoose Pro Class - Race bike number 4 -

Here is Thunderbird 4 :)
I built it up out of left overs.... I have to say that this rides and feels lots better than either my Torker, Vector or Haro RS1. I am taking it out to smack its legs tommorrow. I wont be getting too wild though as i have a cracked rib. I nicked the brakes and cranks from the Haro which now has a white DC MX1000 and a set of Shimano 600 cranks.
I am saving to have it black/smoke chromed and will improve the spec over time. To be honest it feels perfect at it is.
Looks like i will be hiring bikes out at the OS MK meeting ;D
Next project is the Torker cruiser which is 75% complete already ;)
What do you think....Red or Black padset???

Post by: FuNMoNsTeR on June 28, 2006, 09:36 PM: I just replaced the axles. The rims need truing when i get a spoke key. They were spoked like that when i got them m8. I am not sure about the strength of the cross/twist weave over conventional spoke patterns.
