so finally received the annodize spray ive been waiting for
so here go,s diacompe bent lever of sawsal thanks fella..stripped gold anno of with oven brite then flatted down with 400 grade paper then 1000 grade then 3500 wet pad then straight onto polish wheel

then received shimano tourney front brake of rollin72 cheers fella..brake was down to alloy already so wet n dryed with 1000 grade then 3500 wet pad then on to polish wheel for light polish.

Looks good. How easy is it to scratch or chip the paint ?

gotta wait 12 hrs then i will be able to tell..im not to sure if im meant to laquer them or not..but look good so far

They look great mate, I'm on my first build now, where did you get the paint?, Im not sure what colour I need either, its the usual blue that mx brakes used, any ideas?. Thanks

finished of my brake resto..the metalcast paint seems to work better on a wirewool finish..it does scrape of if you scratch with something..so done a few laquer tests and found that halfords own brand laquer works the best with metalcast anno spray..the finish is excellent im well happy

At the time I posted this you couldn't..I had to do the brake so done the lever aswell

Dont seem to be able to order from that site link . Any tips on how you got the paint..

Rupert, you gotta go to their contacts page on the website and ring them to order it, takes 2 days by courier, costs 9 fooking quid to post with it being aerosol.
