The Museum says its a 1987 MBK Bercy Masters

http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/mbk/'model=1696 (http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/mbk/'model=1696)

But only the first once matches yours so, quite rare..

I also like this one:

Defo worth a powder coat and cheap build..  Could look really good..

My mate is having this now!strictly a budget build though, don't get too excited!should look tidy though, got a baby blue powder job planned, ordered new grips, seat, pedals, tyres and brake pads yesterday, all in white.Gonna clean the old mags up and use the original Anlun stem,MBK rotor and lee-chi brakes.A custom decal or two and should make a decent looking budget rider,it's all chromoly, and you don't see 'em everyday!trying to get it done for MK!watch this space!bike is still in Holland atm, hopefully be here this week! :daumenhoch:

O.K,with Arno's permission I am going to hijack this thread a little and show what my mate has done to this little french freestyler on a strict budget(you'd be surprised at how little!)the first obvious change is the baby blue paintwork, not so much SuperbikeDan as SuperRattleCan!!The colour is Ford Bermuda blue and with some custom graphics off my mate I think it looks the nuts!other parts restored are:seat clamp,Anlun freestyle stem, bars and brake levers, seatpost. He was able to get 90% of the other stuff from bankrupt bike parts,a well known seller on ebay who came up trumps with a seat, tyres, pedals, brake cables.couple of other bits from other suppliers like clear brake pads, obligatory dice caps and fake mushroom grips and it was there.alot of the parts replaced were original on this bike and it is 90% factory spec. The following pic is a pic as it stands atm.more pics to follow soon when its completely finished.parts to be replaced/restored are:bananapost for snakepost, plastic mushrooms for something softer and maybe the mags for skyways as one of the simplex' is cracked, unless anyone has a cheap pair of white simplex' or even better an orphan front lying about?'tyres will also be replaced in time for something more freestyle looking.I think he's done a cracking job on a limited budget and will post some better pics when its finished next week! For now enjoy 1987 MBK Bercy Masters
