First of all thank you for dropping in here.... ;)
I'll show you some resto news from over the pond here fellas.
So here I go:
Bought a bike for 50 Usd somewhere in 2011 on a Dutch craiglist, looked like a National Pro
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/yy128/spartacus-css/1982%20National%20Pro%20Long/NationalPro.jpg)
Full breakdown once back home in Belgium. Saw poor chrome and damaged dropouts.
The bummer here is that there were no NP forks on it :(
Though I had some luck that this was a National Pro Long. :)

After some research I saw that CW forks were very similar to NP forks, so I took one out of my shed and changed them into NP.
Flattened the back of the dropout and drilled a hole in it.

Took the frame and some other parts to my painter and picked a color.

He removed the old chrome with a sandblaster , then time achieved to take some care of the dropouts.
Welded the deep washer marks with bras. Edit (BRASS !! not the fish ) :)
After this I've left the frame at the painters factory so the guy could do his job.
When the tubes were getting painted I was thinking which parts to put on the bike and collected everything together.
Some parts I had, others I had to buy or trade. Thanks to some of the locals here for the tyres, bars, grips and brake.
I had only 2 more things to restore, the stem and the pedals.
TN before:

3 weeks passed by and the painter called me to get my frame back.
Stickered the frame with repro decals

So the time came to get this one assembled and I've finished this today.
I hope you like the result as much as I do , here it is folks !
