Title: Standard S.T.A.
Post by: phatjimmy on June 23, 2012, 10:53 PM
I picked up the remains of my last mid school build from B.I.T.D last week. At some point i stripped the original green paint  :idiot2: as it was pretty scratched up and had it powdered grey it looks shit like this. I gonna get it powdered back to green at some point but i wanna build a Holmes first.
Ill add more pics as I go.

Yeah most of my bits were with it too. The profile crank arms have a little bit of rust, the front super pro is in bad shape and the back sp is long gone, bars need re chroming so it might take a while!!

Yep, that will look great. Nice bike.
I think that once you've got a nice holmes tho, you'd never want to ride the STA again.  :-\

To be honest i wanna build the holmes up as a rider and build the S.T.A to hang on the wall in my man cave. I know it may seem a waste but my Gran
( R.I.P ) bought me the frame and forks around 94 so if it went missing/broke id be gutted. All my other bikes/bits b.i.t.d. were paid for by paperround car washing etc so its a bit special to me. :daumenhoch:

Excellent idea. My sta is gathering dust, awaiting the  3rd
holmes being painted to replace it.
