Title: 1983 Quadangle finished.

So the first picture is the bike i picked up about a month ago.
Must say this has become the fav bike in my collection at the mo.
1983 SE Quad with the original Landing Gears
Vector Bars
Ame Tri's NOS
Dia compe brake set
Tuff Neck stem
Mongoose seat post
SR seat Clamp
Dyno Viscount seat
Izumi chain NOS
Araya Aero with sealed suzue hubs relaced with black nipples
Comp lll re-issues
1982 Pete's Precision Products chainwheel
Sugino crank NOS
Tange BB220-24 Bottom bracket.
1983 Suntour XC II
Not forgeting nice gloss black powder coat from SBD and a great set of decals fron Del INC the Scot Industries decal  :daumenhoch:

Very nice and very clean build, I like that a lot.

Those bars however don't half make the wheels look small, I thought a first glance it had 16" wheels on.  :D

LOL i thought the same but i just had to keep up the mad angles  :)

my god them bars are fookin quite largeEEEEEEEE  ;D.
nice to see a quality bike built with a opc.
sick of seeing everything running flites etc.
all i ever rode bitd.

I wouldnt say they dont suit, i think eveyone is just used to seeing SE bikes with PW bars, just sometimes you have to step away from the norm.

The pics make them look bigger than they look in the flesh

No thats down to the owner as the seat post split is in the front so i found it got better purchase on the post  :daumenhoch:

Really like that - not overly keen on the seat, but the bars look good on it IMO  :coolsmiley:

I Fookin love those bars and I think they suit it perfectly, nice sharp angles to match the frame :smitten:

Looking good Craig.........these are the old tuffs from it, they're getting there.......just need to attack the break rub on the rear now the front is done.
