Crazy Ronnie Anderson (had rep for being a mentalist on and off the bike http://www.ababmx.com/index.php?page=default/halloffame&year=2000 ), brother of Richie Anderson. Rode with other  US pro's from back in the day like Brackens, Thompson, Clark, Hill, Milller etc etc

Nice pics. ;)

haha dirty elbowing darren :D

the not arsed was more arsed than the arsed!  ;D

i think they should scrap the arsed if there is only 5 riders again

the not arsed even had semis!

Somehow we need to encourage more of the lesser rider such as myself too, then it would be more fun, if there are a few crap riders then the other more BMX challenged riders would not mind stepping up to the gate?

i think a lot of people were put off by how big the track was that and competition between rider`s . i would have done a race if it was a chill out what ever speed you want to and i know a lot more people would have as well .also 3 moto`s put a lot of people off .i wasn`t in the mood to go flying as hols soon and need to be fit for that not have anything broken :)

i thought that was the whole point of the not arsed class though.  Bit of fun, go at your own pace etc

I think allot of people in the not arsed should have been in the arsed, It's not like people in the arsed are mad for the win at all costs i only go in it because i race 30+ normally.

Not Arsed as i understood it was for people that have not riden in years or just wanted a chance to roll round. but there was people in there jumping the first doubles etc.

My decision to ride not arsed was based purely on the fact i went
to B/mouth with Dirtyvans for a practice and watching him fly the
1st doubles and step up, knew i was not in his league. I aint
been near a track in 19 years and at nearly 38 could have done
without the semi as well.

all the oldskool ride together at the heywood winter classic, no problem there, all though its hard to get any air the track is super oldskool!

at the end of the day its a race, someone is gona try harder to win it

i do like riding the oldskool bikes though, and building up a new one each year, maybe i should put them in the show and shine and stop giving them abuse

I am gutted I didn't make it to Bournemouth. The pics are ace! Two weeks ago at the Volkswagen 'lebug show' in Belgium I stupidly rode my laserlite pi$$ed on the Spa grand prix circuit at midnight. To cut a long story short I am now off work with a dislocated left arm and perforated left eardrum. Thank god only the nos chrome 7x's were trashed   :(

What a dick  >:(

Cool picks, but you could have got one with me in front of Mark Seaman, lol!

Not arsed/arsed its all the same; when the green light goes on and the air-ram drops BOOM its race time. Combine it you guy's there honistly no difference from where I was stood.

The not arsed was definitely more arsed than the arsed :-\ I was in the not arsed, a 50 year old on the VDC cruiser, needless to say I didn't make the semi's. I can't view the photo's on here, if anyone has any photos of no. 26 in either the not arsed or cruiser class be appreciated if you could mail them to me george.coleman@bt.com.

many thanks in advance.

Good point about the track being too difficult as well, the sport needs to cater for beginers as well or no one new will ever take it up, the tracks ae far more technical (read difficult) nowthan they were 20 years ago, great for the top riders but what about the rest?
