Title: Another new guy....South Wales

Just introducing myself......early mid life crisis and I can't afford a sports car.....been thinking about doing it for years, got a little bit of cash heading my way and am about to take the plunge and relive a bit of my youth and build a bike.

Welcome in mate,i am a newbee and i can afford a sports car but i would rather have my old school bmx.I have been going through a mid life crisis for the last five years so there is hope for you yet,all the best Corky.

Trust me when i say a sports car is cheaper. I reckon i could have a nice little retro 2 seater sat on my drive instead of at my peak 13 BMX's

sports cars are over rated anyway......any advice on sourcing parts guys been having the odd gander on ebay.....is ebay allowed to be mentioned here?......would really love to get hold of a rickman freestyler.......had mine pinched when i was about 14 and it broke my heart.....37 now and I'm still not over it!!!

Welcome,if your going for old school,despite tax,mots,fuel etc you'll be still out of pocket.Buy it to ride it :daumenhoch:

right lads....I'm guessing that Rickman freestylers are really hard to come by these days and apart from ebay are there any other places I should be looking? (not just for a rickman). Figure I should learn to walk before I run but really can't wait to get a build started......any pointers????
