Title: Jaymz Jnr's new project:: FINISHED::
Post by: Jaymz on July 12, 2012, 08:26 PM
So little junior has been getting a bit of stick recently for riding this

The local peasant children, just don't appreciate an all alloy frame beautifully welded by the highest of quality german hands. let alone know what a flatland frame is. So he's been nagging for a park/street bike.
So as a surprise extra B'day present, as he's chosen everything else he's getting, and I like surprises, I picked up a 2009 Hoffman Scarab EL20 frame. new set of cranks and a sealed mid bb for under £50!!! Its a bit scratchde but in two months it'll be fooked anyway as he rides his bikes hard. A quick clean and some decals off the bay and this is what he's got

all he's got to do is transfer all his parts over and put on a set of bars i have here and he's done. Sunday will be the day he gets it so there will be more pics then, probably of me building and him watching in the end!!!

I imagine there's going to be a fight over that, i like him running brakes, but he's determined to run brakeless

Good to see you got him to put a rear brake on at least Jaymz, I bet jnr is chuffed to bits with that :daumenhoch: The pacman forks look a bit odd, but thats just cosmetics, it does what it says on the tin, bet its half the weight of the Dragon too :LolLolLolLol:

yeah the forks are a bit odd but i have no others, it actually weighs a touch more than the dragonfly as the DF was alloy weighed like 3lbs the frame did
