Title: Cheap fix for a worn Profile crank arm?
Post by: Jon The Bassist on July 14, 2012, 11:31 AM
My left Profile crank arm has quite a bit of wear on the splines and is flopping about a bit  :'(
I've tried swapping everything around every which way but it won't cure it.
I have to race tomorrow - does anyone have a way to bodge it just for tomorrow?

Profile wobble   :'(

Time for new cranks if the splines on the arms are worn

As a temp fix give the splines on the spindle a bit of a bashing with a hammer so the arms fit tight again

you could mess up the rest of the cranks on all the other riders bikes - then you all stand the same chance with wobbly cranks  :daumenhoch:
