evening all,currently have a nice pair of black shimano dx's but want them blue like the anodised blue colour,can these be stripped and anodised blue or do they have to be stripped and sprayed blue?does anyone on here do this or know of anyone who will do them,thanks in advance :daumenhoch:

Spray them with Tamiya Trans Blue nearest match to the real thing I've seen :daumenhoch:

What size are they buddy? 9/16 or 1/2"? I have some lightly used blue in 9/16 if our interested in a trade and they are in good condition ???

I think its clear blue you want.....will have to check tomorrow and look at the can in my garage :daumenhoch:

I've got a unused tin of blue plastikote glass paint which gives a good anno finish?

try a product we use .........CALLED METAL CAST .................ITS A ANNO FINNISH SPRAY CAN USED OVER SILVER RAW OR CHROME ...ITS FOUND AT AUTO CAR PARTS STORE PAINT SECTION .........HERES A SAMPLE IN RED OVER RAW RIMS .....sorry caps lok on .....

i had heard about this product before ...............i had ordinary rims and they were my test rats ....i sprayed them as they were all plain silver raw anno....

Paul (Monkian) did a nice job of these using that Plastikote spray .......
