MK2012 RACING - PRE REGISTER HERE . MK2012 is on the weekend of Aug 18th & 19th .
THERE WILL BE NO RACE REGISTRATION ON THE WEEKEND OF MK2012 , ONLY PRE REGISTRATION ONLINE HERE WHICH WILL END AT MIDNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY 15th Aug , if you have to pay by cheque then these will not be accepted after 10th Aug . PAYPAL IS PREFERRED .
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY EVERYTHING BELOW , ANY Q's PLEASE PM ME, Mattdub or Mrs Ratty .
Race Classes are as follows:
Old School - Old School denoted by 1" threaded headset & caliper brake ( single mount ) - Pitbull ok but no V brakes , Canti's or 1/18 Headsets .
Old School 20"
Old School 24"
Old School Novice - You can use either 20" or 24" OS bikes in the one class . ( guys & gals who've never raced before or only 2/3 times previously and would feel more comfortable starting here )
YOU CANNOT ENTER OLD SCHOOL 20 AND OLD SCHOOL NOVICE CLASS, YOU ARE EITHER NOVICE OR NOT
Run What Ya Brung - New School ( if your lad is 10 this year but 9 right now he goes in the 10-14 ) .

12-14
15+
Girls all ages combined in 1 class
Cost: £10 - this can be for one class or more if for instance you wanted to do OS 20" & OS 24" .

If the numbers are low, then I will ask Nikki to run a kids race with a selection of rwyb, so atleast there will be some kinda race :daumenhoch:
It's a shame that I spent £400 on health and safety, otherwise the racing would have got pulled.

Yes, I am saying that Matt, seem's that the racing is a non starter this year and with the expense, it dosn't wash it's face, so back to the drawing board.
And yes I have gone novice, again, there are only 4 riders in that class, so trying to make up the numbers :daumenhoch:
Shame some our 'pony' boy's don't give it a go, MK might happen for 2013 then :)

I don't have a helmet or any protective gear - presumably a helmet at least is a must-wear ?
I could knock together a make-shift number plate if that would be o.k.
I haven't signed up as I don't think I have the gear needed.

full face helmet and gloves :daumenhoch:
pads are advised but personal choice, you must have full lenght pants and top is no pads
make a paper plate it not got a number plate, keep it real ;)

We're getting there now homies.
Will add that I have a spare race bike ready to rock'n'roll. 21" TT Powerlite XL, nice to ride and indesructible!
Guess as i've just put it out there it will have to be dib dobs, but will be bringing it as back up anyhoo if needed.
I don't have any race gear to lend though. Soz.
