Title: Off white A'me grips
Post by: Jaan on July 25, 2012, 11:08 PM
Considering bidding (yep eBay) on some white bubble font A'mes that are described as "ivory" in colour.

They're in great condition other than colour, is it possible to get them back to white?

Cheers

soapy wash - bleaching - or a clothes stain cleaner - you could try them all - dirt and oil from hands has taken the white to a ivory cream colour

clean them as best as you can with out damaging them too much - if not sell them  ;)

Chris - I'm after some Rounds that don't need to look white... drop me a pm if you want to move them on.

Personally I have always managed to get them peachy with BarKeepersFriend or white Jif and a good scrub  :daumenhoch:

I'll have a go at getting them back to white with some Bar Keepers Friend - works wonders on Skyways and my sink  :)

I'll see how i get on otherwise I'll pass them on

Cheers
