Title: MK Racing on the Sunday
Post by: Gashead on July 31, 2012, 01:05 PM
Are people really not that interested ?

I have paid out £400 for first aid cover and too date not got a full gate for one moto.

If it really is that unpopular then I will pull the event on the Sunday.

Better off binning the first aid and putting the £400 into prize money  ::)  :LolLolLolLol:

Get them to sign a waiver first though  :2funny:

Im surprised as the racing there is awesome. I raced for the first time in my life ever at MK06 and got so hooked i joined the RAD OS race scene.

Deffo worth a go, its even a great hangover cure.

If there were 8 3/4 gates I could have raced  :'(

To anyone who hasnt done it before give it a go its a bloody good laugh

95% of the lads racing will be in the same condition as you  :daumenhoch:

So what you got to loose  :daumenhoch:

Few more names added, sorry if I come across at tad anxious, but lads, I need your support on this.

One of the main reasons we hold the event at MK is due to the track, we can always hold it in a Church vestry if you prefer  :daumenhoch:

Please don't leave it to the last minute, if your skint, I'm sure we can sort a deal, and if you have never done it before, please still have a go  :daumenhoch:

Thanks

Nick and the admin team !

Me and both lads were well up for racing, then you picked a date right in the middle of our holiday (again :D ).
There are loads of riders that are injured or coming back from injury at the moment Greg, Diggler, Richie etc etc.

I'd recommend everyone that can to get involved - I'll be sat wishing I was in MK.

:'( get some names down lads, one of the main reason I tie my summer hols back to the UK in with MK is for the action on the race day and is one of the best parts of the event! As loads have mentioned dont be shy, its a fookin great laugh!

I think Hmoon Mark will up for it, I'll send him a pm.

'Stop polishing and start peddling!'

People wouldn't think twice about blowing whatever $$$ on a 'part' but when it comes to actually paying £10 for using your bike ... the computer say no.

This is what MK is about for me, just an awesome hoot of a weekend with your mates :daumenhoch:

Gutted I won't see this but my brother was going to try and do something similar to this with a P O S Piranah f&f last year and do a ground up resto on the saturday to enter the S&S on the sunday - he even had a generator with him for his polishing wheel, but got too pished instead :2funny:

JT - if I was there you could have anything you needed for this entry I had in my spares box fella - I bet most of the Helipad massive will help you out bud :coolsmiley:

Brilliant plan - best of luck and I bet you do it easily :2funny:
