What a load of shite

Im not sure why all those guys are getting so uptight. There are a number of places out there who have permission to print GT decals in any case, so its not like you cant get your hands on them any more. They are all acting as if there has been a complete ban on all repro stuff which isnt the case.
-
They are shitting there pants for a lawsuit hahahahaha
american rules and law just suck
sue each other to death and a life of no money pfff
-
OP better also go after all the guys and girls on ebay then as well ::)
-
Wonder where this will lead to?
???
-
I saw my inbox full of messages and thought it was a bit OTT really, from what i can gather they are banning people from making and selling decals, so if this happened on rad del would be screwed and anyone else that made use of logos without the correct copyright permissions
-
It's nothing to do with forums, if ya caught, nice little email saying please stop, if ya don't 2nd email stating which court they will be removing your testicles in
-
So reading between the lines then? If you have a decal-less GT its worthless! and you should give it away now just incase your tempted to buy hooky decals and you may then end up in jail for recieving stolen goods? ???
Ps...I wouldnt mind a GT with no decals ::)
-
the gt decals are being made under license by someone so they are available hence why gt dont want everyone and their dog reproducing them

Not really they have to prove you are making money out of it in order to have a claim for loss. If you are providing a "service" to assist in restoration then unlikely they will be able to successfully sue you and in the case of the plantiff being in the US they would have to sue you in the UK courts which would massively cost prohibitive.
-
Simple solution, just dont say we're you get them from anyway fook GT there only doing it so people can buy the shit there producing today, if they had any scense they could put there name back on the map but there only interested in turning out crap for money
-
This has been the situation for a few years now it's nothing new except the bmxmuseum have obvously got warned with a cease and desist notice to stop providing a venue for the sale of said decals or they will be sued themselves.
If you read all 15 pages of that you'd definitely need treatment.
Keep calm and carry on IMO.

Knob jockeys >:( Just leave us alone 2 our hobby eh :tickedoff:
-
Just say they are from the 80's
They would have to prove otherwise.
-
justr say you get every thing from costa - they all know he's the GT man - so we can make him the scapegoat :daumenhoch:
-
