Title: Price Guide with next purchase please chaps

Ive been offered a Kuwahara Laserlight supposed to be close to original condition in good condition, what kinda money should i be paying for something like this?
Im told all the parts are kuwa stamped which is good.

Now seeing the pics it's a way from og

does he know what sort of price he wants ? and does he know bmx stuff ? and has he looked on ebay ?

He's just told me he paid £400 ten years ago and he want that back, if it have the brake set and the proper crank i would pay that no probs but i think that a lil over price how it stands

say to him prices have changed and had it been complete then it might be worth near that - tell him you havce seen a couple go for around (so and so price - up to what lower price you say ) - go low and then bring it up a bit  ???

ask more questions about the condition and say what it will cost to put right

Cheers B i dont think he's gunna move much from £400 tbh but we will see he's only 30min drive from me so im going over to have a looksy tomorrow if the chrome is spanking i might go £350, im trying to work out what the crank is on it??

Cheers for the reply Glenboy i thought £400 was lil steep? but ive got nothing to go on really, i know that the Laserlight was prob the best Kuwa ever made and the stamped post and bars are a bonus.

Could be but i think the the part closet to the spider looks round with a flat top.

Shame come back without the bike  :( for £400 the chrome needed re-doing and a load of parts needed to get back to spec, think i talked the bloke into keeping and getting back into teh scene tho  :daumenhoch:
