After a week and a half of waiting it finally turned up! It's in really good condition apart from it looks like its had a weld on the built in seat clamp so if anybody has a mk2 93 could they send me a close up pic?, also has got gen 1 super forks and clamp on super stem:)

That's real nice, superforks as well :daumenhoch: The seat clamp was partially welded to the seatstays on that version if that's what You mean?
-
Lol no it looks like chewing gum haha but stodgy told me this is common for a early gack frame?:)
-
Lovely bike you have there. Looking forward to seeing this build. 8)

Ah yes, I get you! Get a pic up of the weld, so We can see how dodgy it is :LolLolLolLol:
-
It's not been re chromed recently so I'd say it might be og but just looks strange to me as I can't see why this would have been rechromed when it was done say 10-11ish years ago as it wouldn't have been collectible... If I would have done the same it would have just been welded and sprayed or something

-
I see what You mean, it's not the best but the early Ramp Room frames were a bit rough & ready in places! I think the welds were a lot thicker in that area anyway, think about how big the fill weld would have to be to fill the gap between the seattube & the clamp.
-
i'm pleased you got one at last :daumenhoch:
that clamp area looks original to me.
-
I've been intouch with someone egg who has 2sets of chrome nos patriots if it turns out to be a good deal il give you his email for the other set!:)
-
excellent,you're a star :daumenhoch:
-
Don't get your hopes up just yet tho as I'm risking £75 sending through Weston union money transfers and he could be a scammer but as no 1 has answered any of my wanted adds im going to have to take 1 for the team!
-
I went & checked My stash as I thought I might have some Patriots, turned out They're US made Low Drags with the Bomberman logo on, close but no cigar!
-
Got the seat and nos post on its way just need the bars and everything else is easy!
-
nice very nice mate :4_17_5:
-
Thanks Gary, I'm really happy as I've always wanted a real early condor I love these skinny 1's befor they had the massive drop out and massive gussets all I really need is a set of patriots now as the rest is easy!:(
-
That's lovely, can't wait to see it built 8)
So how does that fork stem work ? are the forks threaded all the way & the stem clamps to the threads ?
-
I will take some pics later for you:)

Are those bars from the guy who would only accept western union payment? If so it seems like he came through for you. Looking forward to seeing this come together.
-
No Jon I gave up on that idea as it was a bit risky I got these of kuwahero:)
-
Chucked a few bits on her tonight and I'm not liking fork/stem combo ithink it's way to chunky for this frame, just wish my friend would sell me the forks so I can run my tnt :'(

See what you mean about the stem, it looks a bit big, but they were all like that. I have 97 taiwan condor with fatter gusset with an inch headset and i have a weeny little DK stem on my stem and mine looks a bit small to be honest!!!! cant win
-
Yeh it's doing my head in! I've got the perfect stem for it a TNT 1" but can't run it with these forks, well I could but I'd av to cut the top 2-3" off the forks but that would be just plain wrong!

Bugger, im running some huffy front forks and a 14mm axel ground down to fit as I cant find a 14mmdrop out 1 inch fork
-
I know there's people out there with the right forks but just hold to stuff like my friend :'(
-
Well finally!! I got em! I've been searching the whole web on every forum every web site and our very own chris (wish I kept my ta) hooked me up big time!, I've got everything I need now to build this beast!

Has anybody got a cut down Hoffman post? Mines to long and don't wanna cut it as its nos!,
Also if any body wants to trade my super pros for mint set of semi pros let me know!:)
-
Looking good. :smitten: Early Condor is definitely on my "to do " list. Ive got some Semi Pros that are in pretty good shape. Rims have some braking marks on the sides but nothing that cant be cleaned up. Let me know if you are interested.
-
Looks much better now :smitten:
I got the forks at MK & was going to use them on my Taj, but we did a deal & I got the Super forks, I think both Frames are better off with the forks they now have :coolsmiley:
& nice to meet another cool radster & Hoffman fan 8)
