I'm sending my bike off for a new paint job, keeping it the same colour as near as possible, using the british gas van blue. so the frame, forks and crank arms are getting done all matching. I was also going to get the bars done the same, but not sure i want to paint a decent pair of Wethepeople bars? So thinking of selling them and getting a pair of chrome bars.
The bike from new would have had all in the blue? Any thoughts

:LolLolLolLol: Good match them cushions :daumenhoch:
I do like the idea of a bit of chrome, jaymz. But also like to have it as original as possible, I guess i could get my lock stock bars painted and sell the OD bars to buy some chrome, best of both that way

KHE anchor bars / stem combo are still available on ebay, you could get them and get them powdered up to match the bike and save some serious weight too, they weigh fook all

Sounds similar to my set-up. I went and saw SBD and said I was after british gas van blue. I've got a set of Shadow highlighter blue pedals and slim seat for sale. I thought it was too much blue. I now have blue f&f bars and crank arms.
Changed the seat to all black and black pedals. Chrome bars and forks would look good I reckon.

I've been going around holding my bike up to gas vans to compare shades :LolLolLolLol: It a shade darker than what I have, but hoping it will look good... Although the bike would have been all blue, looking at yours, just seems a bit too much with the bars. I would like a pair of chrome bars, but for now will send my WTP lockstocks to be painted and keep the OD bars as is, least that way i can try all blue if its too much, put the teal ODs back on till i can get chrome..
What bike is that Gary?
