10 days, we planned our route to be exactly 1000 miles although the official route is a lot shorter that that. We just plodded along not thrashing it and could have easily knocked 2 days of that. Did on on road and MTB's "with slicks".

There was a guy raising funds to do it on a burner
Not sure if he managed it or not though is a fookin long way with no gears.... :shocked:

8 days, i planed my route to 1200 miles exactly, originally the official route can be shorter that is. I did quite a bit of it backward on the bike and didn't have to rush as i could have cut it down by 3 days. Did it on a rusty old bmx with "slightly flat tyres" :daumenhoch:

Yeah but ive looked on a map and as its ALL downhill you could just freewheel most of the way. :daumenhoch: easy.

I believe theres a few people done it. We've been researching for a new long distance endurance BMX charity ride. :coolsmiley: Looking at Lisbon to London at the moment if anyones up for it? :4_17_5:
