Why when bmx was big and every one wanted to get there items sold - did they not put there names or a stamp on stuff ? ???
loads of bars that are from good companies, but don't have any way to tell who makes them ?
there are frames out there that we know from just one glance who made it / from which company it came from
but there seems a load of stuff - good and bad - that just has know way of telling what company they are from - some times only measurements give a clue ?
if you were a company trying to get ahead of the game, would you not stamp you items ???
strange :)
cheers B

Yeah and also you knew what and who's you were buying originally.
I don't think the ease of us recognising their gear 30 year later was an issue taken into consideration.
