what have people used to stop the bleach attacking the alloy on the hubs of tuffs when bleaching them?
-
could you grease the alloy?
like a liquid mask
-
i put grease all over them it worked for me :daumenhoch:
-
yeah i thought of that, didnt know if the bleach would break it down or not.
-
it will if you leave them too long !
but then i did use pure bleach for a week or so ;D
cleaned the hubs after using a dremel
good enough for me given the abuse i'll end up throwing at them anyway :uglystupid2:
-
to be honest phil, ive never bothered as i always polish the hubs anyway afterwards
bleach will not eat into the alloy in any alarming way, they may go a bit discoloured/black but thats it
