Title: bleaching tuffs.

what have people used to stop the bleach attacking the alloy on the hubs of tuffs when bleaching them?

could you grease the alloy?

like a liquid mask

i put grease all over them it worked for me :daumenhoch:

yeah i thought of that, didnt know if the bleach would break it down or not.

it will if you leave them too long !   

but then i did use pure bleach for a week or so  ;D


cleaned the hubs after using a dremel

good enough for me given the abuse i'll end up throwing at them anyway  :uglystupid2:

to be honest phil, ive never bothered as i always polish the hubs anyway afterwards

bleach will not eat into the alloy in any alarming way, they may go a bit discoloured/black but thats it
