Title: Shimano DX or SX
Post by: BMX1973 on August 27, 2012, 09:23 PM: How can you tell if a pedal is a Shimano DX or SX? I think an SX is a smaller pedal! Any other give-a-ways? :-\

DX has cut lines into it and the SX has raised lines

DX and SX were available at the same time - thing was the higher end DX went hand in hand with Higher end equipped riders .....

the SX was designed as a dual-use pedal. BMX/MTB, with toe clip mounts. :shocked:

Maybe thats why they were not as widespread in the BMX world.....

thought they were around the same price but just not as desirable due to their looks
one think for sure is they have become the poor mans dx
