Might be persuaded
Mark, if it helps convince you then i'll only touch the inside of your thigh just once. After that you need to talk to Ed or PeterJ as they actually enjoy it.....
Mike, coaching is deffo on if I make it bud as you did great last time at Bones fella. Best advice I can give is watch out for Kappy as once he starts talking you can't stop him....
-
Got my Ltf built up now and have been dying to give it a roll around :)

I rode dirt tracks in the 80s when I was into bmx, I am now 37 and back into it after 20+ years away, what is ramp city like for someone like me who is not used to ramps? would I be totally lost off, or could I slowly get into it doing small stuff?
Always wanted to ride some ramps

Its awesome, I never rode ramps as a kid, just a dirt track full of stones and glass!!
There's loads of little ramps and boxes to play on, till you get up the umph to go big!!

I'll have to get myself down then, even if I just ride slow and mostly watch till I get the hang of it, I need some armour though, broken bones have caused too much hassle this year already

Wini,
Joff asked me to come and I was thinking about it until the "Jinx and A & E" sentence Joff chucked into the conversation ... :-\ I thought again :LolLolLolLol:
Good to hear you all enjoyed it though, I will come to the next one...Spen can you show me how not to fall off please....

Spen can you show me how not to fall off please....
Mmm, I can show you how to get up and down the ramps Daz, but the falling off or not is up to you as you can see from the mug-shots of me in the "me and my bikes" section :2funny:
(as Mike found out when he crashed head-first into the side of the jump-box after doing a little tranfer off the deck down the quarterpipe next to it  :idiot2: )
How's the wrist Mike? Hope it's ok bud :daumenhoch:
My shoulder is bruised to fook where I hit the back wall at the top of the quarter..... Joff, where was my ambulance eh ??? :knuppel2:
Good night and cheers for organising it Kapster :daumenhoch: but the fookin M62 was shut on the way back which meant it took me 2hrs to do the 120 miles each way trip..... :angrysoapbox:

Wrist is fine now thanks spen , I admit that riding head on into the side of the jump box was not the slickest of moves but in my defence I'm hardly bob fookin haro just yet :D. Bring on the next one !!

Bit of everything mate
cool hope to make one of these blackpool meets on my mid 90s dk
-
Most of us start on an oldschool and then as time goes on you realise the bike is limiting you and you spend half the night tightening things up.
Eventually you end up on a newschool as you get more confident. I rode my newschool off every quarterpipe in there last night and i've been attending these private hire nights for a couple of years now, but my oldschool bike has only been hung up for about 3 months.
Most important thing is bring a bike with decent ramp tyres and ask for advice on how to ride - we all started somewhere and most of us will explain the basics and get you rolling.
