Its nowhere near finished yet. it will have a front disc brake once Ive found a POS 20" mtb wheel. The hardest part is i want to bang a crank through the front wheel so the kids can pedal it as well

Awesome John! Im after those sleeves for the rear wheels so i can get some arse out action!!!!!!
-

Jaymz, let the rear tyres down a bit, measure the radius and get some large plastic waste pipe. Cut to size, place over the tyres and pump them up again :daumenhoch:

Jaymz, a thought for the front wheel/cranks -
How about seeing if you can lay your hands on a Tuff wheel and a single piece BMX crank and see if the pair might somehow go together although the fork dropouts will also need modifying as well.
Just a thought and without actually having the parts to look at it might be a rubbish idea :idiot2:

that had come to mind.
My idea at the moment is to use a cheap 3piece kiddy crank machined so its all one diameter. Then sleeve it.
The fork dropouts will be modded to look like the top of a primo rod seat post
It's hard to explain. But in my head its sorted. You'll have to wait for pics
-
I get where you're coming from.
-
Why not buy an old 20'' uni cycle and use it as the forks . Sure the cheap ones are 1''1/8 .

hi Simon. The thought had crossed my mind. But that would be the easy option
Spent most of today trying different things out and think Im nearly there now.

You could adapt a14mn axle to take an Ali three piece.

Yeah, he is putting an awful lot of faith in those welds at the bottom bracket. Hitting bumps seems like a very scary prospect to me.
Please make sure your maiden voyage is filmed by someone and be sure to wear lots of protective equipment. :daumenhoch:
