Title: TAN WALLS HELP...?
Post by: Mdbh on September 04, 2012, 02:57 PM: I've got my hands on some nos haro muiltiserface tyres black/tan but the tan has gone very dark, is there anyway of bleaching them or brightening them a bit?

Not sure what they would work out price wise, or whether it would work on your tyres :-\

Post by: Discostu on September 05, 2012, 09:16 AM: Try a bit of Cif first. That has a small bit of bleach in it. Aqua blasting would eat those walls away. So don't go down that route. :daumenhoch:

Right fitted them and they don't look bad at all well I don't think so anyway so I guess that's all that counts, but scratching the wall with my nail looks like maybe a little rub with cif might work so il give that a go stu!:) il post pics on e my photo bucket stops crapping its self!:)

Post by: midschooljon on September 05, 2012, 05:42 PM: Blasting, Bleach, Scrubbing, will all do nothing to fix them. The reason they are dark is because the rubber compound in the sidewall has aged. Its not dirty or stained its the sidewall its self. Just leave them as is or you will only damage them further. :daumenhoch:

It doesn't surprise me as they were shockingly week. Used to last a couple of weeks then they would be banana shaped. The viscount dominator was a much better saddle. But if your going for factory spec. Then it has to be the fusion. :daumenhoch:
