Hi guys.
Think I'm going to build up my old mongoose for some skate park action over the coming months. Just wondering where there are some indoor parks for when the weather is rubbish.
I'm in bradford but can travel a bit. I seem to have seen one in leeds "the works" but nothing else. Is the park at wakefield still going or are there any others now in my locale?
Cheers ahead
Dan

A bit further but Doncaster has a fairly new one which Jim 'Oldtired' was going to suss out. Dunno if he got around to it yet. Would like to know what the Works is like myself if anyones been?

I'm up for a few sessions at the Works during the cold dark months, with one or both my lads too probably. Not been there yet but it has a reasonable reputation.
There is some sort of indoor skatepark at Castleford where Xscape is but I think it's more skateboard specific, I don't know anyone that rides there.

I appreciate there is debate if Sheffield is actually in Yorkshire or not with some of you West Yorkshire folk....... :2funny: :2funny:
And I also appreciate the question was specifically worded "west" Yorkshire but.......
Dan, check out the members event section and watch for the next time I book the park for a private session. Unless of course you're actually really good and happy to take on the yoof on their skooters etc doing all that whippy-flippy stuff, then you can come along one evening if you want an introduction and I'll call down for the last hour from 8-9pm?
If like us you want to start out fairly steadily and progress with a great deal of encouragement from like-minded fools, then one of the "private" sessions from 9pm-midnight over the weekend may be for you as we normally have about 15 of us from all walks of life with varying skills :daumenhoch:
Here's a couple of photos from the time before last when we actually had a camera with us :coolsmiley:

Erm, my manualling 'skills' have resulted in some severely damaged wheels this year, but I'm always willing to give it a go :daumenhoch:
