Pepi was always one of the standout riders on bmx beat for me, and one of the reasons I got into bmx bitd :daumenhoch:

The guy might believe it was pepi's and I dont doubt frank might have said it was one of Pepi's when his dad purchased it, I know what happened to pepi's bikes and none of the ammacos ended up back with frank mumberson.

The S W is stamped under the bottom bracket (shown in one of the pics), not on the cranks. ;)

Might there be someone on rad who rode with pepi bitd who would be able to verify this frame?

Would have a go at it myself if I hadnt just forked out a small fortune on mountain bike related stuff :'(

I did from the very beginning when he rode a ultra burner we both rode for the local bike shop and then ammaco together, trust me its not one of his bikes.

That S W  didnt look right. The other letters stamped in look original with pitting in them, the S has no pitting as if it had just been done. I use to postcode bikes bitd and the day and over time the corrosion cracking happened. You had to twat the punch hard on the bb.

Pisses me off this sort of thing, if he had a price he wanted then put it on buy it now or offers....or put a reserve on
