Title: Shoreham-by-Sea BMX track
Post by: Gnarlyscoots on September 09, 2012, 11:44 PM
Anybody got any info on this please? I know it's still there, as sorts, but heard it might be getting re-done.

This was the local track to us guys from Bognor Regis. There was also a small shop not too far from the track and looking to see if that is still there too. Going to do a fly-by soon and wondered if it was worth adding this to the list and getting some pics  :-\

Any info is good please,

Cheers

God we used to race regionals there, horrible track, as stoney as hell and just as windy! Flat as a pancake and hardly any jumps! Oh and don't forget the two uphill straights, usually against the wind!

Good times though!

Hahahahaha you know it so well  :daumenhoch:

It did have a tabletop though, sort of  :D

Many a cut hands and knees on those damned stones though and the stink off the river was horrendous on hot days with the tide out

But, all good happy days there  :4_17_5:

Adur Aces - legendary  :daumenhoch:

There were some posts on Rad a while back and over on BMX talk where one of the lads there was in talks with the council. Here's the link - his email is in the thread on BMX Talk
