Great, they look cool and will fix the flex issues that you keep reminding us these wheels have. Winner IMO. :4_17_5:
-
Fruity. Have you invented these or did they make em BITD ?
Wheeldiscs are for the cool cats. You, me & Fiola :D
-
Are they made from rubble tubs?
-
Different, but I really like them. :daumenhoch:
-
:-X

How do they fix in place?
one either side with a single hole through the middle using plastic car number plate bolts and nuts.....
that way they can be removed without damage to the wheel.... ;)

I made one bitd from some clear plastic and stickerd it up and just fitted it between one set of spokes. I think I saw it in BMX Action bike 87?

In the top pic they look like something that would have been worn around the neck by an alien in an 80's episode of Dr Who.

Would said Alien be riding a Hutch 'Deathstar' in that episode? :D

only 8 more to go
I hate to disapoint, but if you having one each side joined by a VRM bolt, yoo've got 18 more to go not 8 :daumenhoch:
Unless you are only doing one wheel :-\
A great idea though :coolsmiley:

correct... my first plan was to do just the drive side ..but have now decided to do both.... 14 more to go.... ;)

why don't you stick them together with car number plate foam sticky things. that way you wont have unsightly bolts, the discs also can be removed with these on.
also put something along the edge of the segments where it's butted up against the spokes to stop it rattling and banging.
if the number plate sticky pads can hold number plates on at over 100 mph, your discs should be ok.

these are the first i saw on ebay, they do come in different thicknesses
-
you can also double the pads up to get the correct thickness
-
Pimpin ain't easy - looks cool to me. 8)
