Title: Help Please - Half Link Chain
Post by: diesel on September 20, 2012, 09:08 PM
OK so I have a standard 1/8 Chain and I need to bring the rear wheel forward a half notch.

I also have a section of half link chain.

If I swap out 1 of the standard links for one of the half links will it bring the wheel forward.

Only visually they're the same length?

Thanks from a confuse radder  :daumenhoch:

In theory yes. But offer the half link up first. You will only be taking out 1 link.  :daumenhoch:

Basically remove the link that is stamped kmc. And the link next to it as well. Then place in one of the half links. You the shorten the chain by 1 link.  :daumenhoch:
