Smell the coffee lads, the black ones were all over here a few years ago at £9 in the same box then buy yourself a Tange Locknut for £20 and job done.
Have a look on me and my bikes at my copper Goose - you couldn't tell the difference if you changed the decals which were only £4 from Retrospect.
Saw a few of these last year in blue for £30 without the locknut but missed them. No way are they original.

Not naming no names but someone not to far from this post bought some win bars from myself off the bay for £30 BIN then put them up a couple of days later for £79.99 BIN. It's not just the Thai's who are at it, people closer to home weigh in with their fair share of over-priced goodies too ! :knuppel2:

There's nothing wrong with making a profit...most people and businesses usually make a profit on something or other to survive.Making money off your mates is another matter,and thats what most people are on rad-whether you have met in person or not,mates who share the same passion.I have never made a profit off anything I have bought on here,always sell back for the same i paid,sometimes less.Another radster pm'd me a few days back because he was re-selling a seat i had sold him only a couple of days back because the right one came up,he was just telling me and checking i didn't mind,which of course i didn't.He bought the seat off me at a v.reasonable price and could have made a profit but chose not to,passing his good fortune on to the community.But hey,that's how most of us roll on here.You wouldn't buy something off a mate at mates rates and sell it straight away at a profit,well i wouldn't anyway! :daumenhoch:

Well for starters i have sold about 4 or 5 win bars for £80 and secondly I have sold about 350 items in the last
3 months to very satisfied customers..! and I bet a lot of them are members of Rad,
I take a chance a lot of the time importing parts from use and asia so I can sell to you guys..!

I think his comment is spot on, you are part of the problem, there's nothing wrong with making a bit of a profit say a tenner on the bars..but to put them straight back on ebay for £80 thats just fookin extortion and the reason why many people are giving up building

if a seller puts a price on his item ,someone buys it and is happy at that price,wether its high or low,then thats down to the parties involved,if it s on rad,ebay gumtree,doesnt matter a fook.there are alot of sound guys on here,but dont give it the "we are all mates on here ,one big happy bmx family"pish,theres just as many on here would try and screw you over as there is would do you a good turn,pity really,but thats life,, :rant:

If you buy from the bay then sell it where the fook you want for what you want! If someone's willing to pay what you ask then they obviously feel its fair?
Most people on here don't take the p!ss because you might need a good turn one day yourself :daumenhoch:

Agree if both parties are happy then fair enough, but within Rad? Blatant profiteering tends to get frowned upon
There are plenty of people on here that I would class as mates, I've been helped out lots of times and I try to do the same when I can
You'll probably discover this soon as you use the site more, but then your comments seem a little bitter and jaded for someone with such a low post count... Have you been on here in a previous life?

Not sticking up for anyone but if peeps are willing to pay big money then let em, rack em up n see how they fall. If it was something ya wanted then either buy it at original price or bide your time til another more suitably priced object comes along. Peeps can charge what they want imo I just cringe n move on n feel the satisfaction of getting reasonably priced objects most gratifying

You don't mate ::) but you said there's just as many on here who would screw you over as there is that would do you a good turn . In my experience on here i have had far more 'good turns' than members screwing me over , infact i can't recall a fellow member screwing me over tbh :-\ You obviously see things different to me and your more than entitled to your opinion just as i am to mine ;). Maybe if you did contribute more to the site and it's members you would get more out of it .

IMO if people just buy on here to sell stuff on ebay at a big profit, that's just plain wrong. There has been people on here doing that, and have even asked the seller of the stuff on here for the item cheaper than they were asking and then selling it at a mass profit on ebay a week later. :2gunsfiring_v1:

The members on here that are purely in it to make a profit don't tend to last too long as people soon realise who they can trust.
And when you've already tried to screw over one Rad member, things get more difficult...

i have dealt with some really genuine guys on here,great guys,i also wouldnt buy stuff on here ,to sell on for a big profit,not just because i dont agree with it,but i couldnt be arsed with all that carry on,but if thats what someones decides to do,well thats thier business.maybe in my first post it sounded as if i have a downer on this site,i havent ,or i wouldnt be here,but you only need to look at the messers section to see there is a few about
