Title: Haro Salmon<?> X2 Nyquist
Post by: not johndub71 on September 28, 2012, 09:19 PM
Just bought a beater bike for my daughter off some kid for £20.
Its a salmon coloured X2 Haro, says Nyquist on the frame and Dave Mirra Pro on the forks which to me look slightly bent backward. Its light and feels longer compared to my GT Zone. I've been on the museum and I cant find one, so any one know the year, cost new etc? Its got a nice bent frame top tube just before the seat, u brake mounts front and rear on bottom tubes of rear triangle. Will post pics in my bike soon as photfooket sorts its iphone app out.  :daumenhoch:

The forks are bent. One side straight, the other side pushed back. Couldnt centre the wheel. On go the heavy GT pair.

:) Prob early/mid 2Ks,longer and better than the GT Zone which was a very short/low end bike.Had a few Backtrails over the years and a bit weighty but ride OK and should take a bit of abuse:)

The mrs says it looks longer, just waiting for a chain to ride it. Found two links broke, but for £20...

:) Try BMXCity on E-bay or CRC for a decent chain that won`t cost the earth.

Thats were I've gone. Old kmc in yellow to get it running. Just fitted my old Hombre to the front and awaiting a Vocal cable to get it going.
