Title: A BIG THANK YOU....THE GHOST TOWN RIDE....
Post by: johnny bluff on October 07, 2012, 04:50 PM: I would just like to say a few words after one hell of a day around coventry...i couldnt believe the turn out yesterday,i was buzzing so much... :daumenhoch:
it was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you guys who made the effort to travel to the c.o.v....the root i thought was pretty spot on,however even i was feeling it near the end,but knew that the job was done..and everyone had a good day....on the serious thank yous though,scotty b and mr quick have been amazing....plans are in place,and in the new year and the ghost town ride(the 2nd chapter) will be happening...thank you again for what was an amazing day... :daumenhoch:

Post by: Robmac on October 08, 2012, 01:55 PM: Well done Johnny, and everyone else who had a hand in planning things, great day out and a great crowd. I told everyone I met that I have a crap memory, but I'll do my best to remember everyone I met for next time.

For me the balance of beer and riding was spot on - I enjoy a pint as much as the next bloke, but it's good to actually use the bikes and see some of the local sights. I really enjoyed watching the kids (that sounds wrong ) at the skate park. Things have come a long way from my local youth club 1/4 pipe !

Looking forward to the next one !!

had loads of people ask me what all the old school bmxers were doing in cov though so you definately had people noticing it!
