Title: Another additon finished recently and a revision
Post by: hunterdubber on October 07, 2012, 09:25 PM: I've had my GT Pro 4 for a few years now used as my OS racer, and a Radchester bike :)

I've always had a soft spot for Nora pro as I had an 83 GT for Christmas :smitten:

Then earlier this year I stripped it down for a makeover :angel:

1983 GT Pro 4 Frame with undrilled forks
SunTour VX crank with sealed collared BB
NOS SunTour 44T chainring
NOS SunTour seat clamp
Shimano DX pedals
Shimano Tourney self centering caliper with Shimano DX lever and Clarkes powerglide
GT Pro handlebar unknurled
Tiger stamped Tuf neck pro stem
NOS Oakley B1-B grips
NOS Ariake Jaguar II Aero seat
OG finish Pro Class rims laced with NOS Asahi to NOS Suzue Large flange with Gold nipples
NOS 1.75 Panaracer Knarler Knobby Tyres
D.I.D chain
Tange 125LP headset

just to see if I liked it better

Top MINTO Skyway Tuff II's :smitten: and NOS Skyway Graphite pedals :smitten:

with the addition of a new Torker stem decal from Del #1

I like it ,,but I do have another change of cranks and pedals to come
that may or may not be better :angel:

Where did the Torker frameset come from? Was it Roonga? If so it was mine before him.

Love the GT , the last time i saw that it was in a box in Leigh with loads of other stuff awaiting the bling treatment . Nice to see a few bits being used away from the norm ie the Suntour VX's , the tourney Shimano set up and the Jaguar seat 8)
