So decided that I would build a race bike with a very limited budget, I set myself a budget of £250 to build the bike and tried to get the best parts at the cheapest prices.
I didn't have any of the parts to start with so a completely new build.
So here is what I built, a Staats Pro XL chromoly.
It has some very nice parts on it that I sourced for a steal as you will see from the parts list.
Oh yeah, I did come in below the £250 limit.

Got the hubs for £25 front and 2 rears. The front needed a new axle and I had an axle that fitted it (although not a DXR axle) and the 2 rear hubs also needed work and I robbed parts from both to make one good rear. The rims I found on ebay and got for £7 including postage, I already had the spokes and nipples on my spares (so spokes and nipples I didn't have to buy).
The DXR brake I got for £20 from BMXtalk.

Great looking bike bud , but you did state at the begining that you had nothing before you started this build ,,,,,, then you said you didn't have to buy the spokes n nipples :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:
Only messing Sean still looks a cracking bike :4_17_5:
